Organoleptic characteristics
The color is intense and brilliant deep red. The nose opens with layered aromas of red berries and subtle spice. On the palate, expect smooth tannins, vibrant structure, and a long finish. This balanced profile captures the essence of Barbera Piedmont and delivers a satisfying, harmonious tasting experience.
Production area
The grapes come from select vineyards in Piedmont, rooted in medium-textured soils rich in clay. These conditions offer the perfect balance of freshness and structure. The region’s temperate climate supports slow, even ripening, enhancing the wine’s aromatic clarity and varietal character.
Vinification
Grapes are hand-harvested to ensure quality. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, followed by extended skin contact to extract tannins and aromatic complexity.
Ageing
Aged for 8 months in stainless steel, followed by 4 months in bottle, this process preserves the vibrant character of Barbera while rounding out the texture. The result is a fresh, drinkable red wine that still offers depth and personality. The result is a fresh, drinkable red wine that still offers depth and personality.
